Irina Laskin

I have always been attracted to vibrant colours, textures, and unconventional imagery. Experimenting with different techniques helps me express my love of colour and passion for painting.

I was born and raised in Ukraine, and I began painting at a very young age. My passion for the arts led me to graduate from Kharkov State Technical University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Studying Architecture and Art allowed me to get involved with renowned galleries in Kharkov and Kiev.

In 1999 I moved with my family to Toronto, where I work as an architect and artist.

My work has been published in a number of magazines and publications, and is on display in private collections worldwide.
